Oshawa General's Street Fest

The Oshawa Generals are the local OHL hockey team, homed at the Tribute Communities Centre. To kick off their first home game of the season, Oshawa General's Street Fest takes over Athol Street between Charles and Albert. This event is sponsored by Picks and Giggles and is ignited through various partners, including BIA Downtown Oshawa.

Oshawa General's Street Fest is a free event for all to enjoy. There are a variety of activities, performances, and a cheery atmosphere throughout the area. The street gets lined with vendors mainly focusing on handmade products. There are tons of activities for children including a hockey shootout, and rock climbing wall. A music and beer station is also provided to give adult fans the full tailgating experience. Anyone is welcome to Oshawa General's Street Fest. After the pre-game street celebrations, ticket holders can go watch the home opener game inside the Tribute Communities Centre.
